Dr Anders Blok is Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology at University of Copenhagen. Combining an interest in STS with a background in socio-political theory and environmental sociology, his research focuses on the knowledge politics of science and technology in global processes of environmental governance. Currently, he researches urban responses to climate risks in Europe and East Asia. He holds a Ph.d. in Sociology from University of Copenhagen.

In the “Methodological Cosmopolitanism: In the Laboratory of Climate Change” project, Dr Blok is doing research in the “Greening world cities” research field.
